An Irishman's Birthday

Dad's birthday lunch.

My daddy turned 50 years old today! Dad is a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, friend, Christian, businessman.. I could keep going. But that would be boring. :)

Dad has always told us he was Irish and I think I used to believe him. Having a birthday on the seventieth of March sounds like fun! He has a drawer full of leprechaun pj pants and shirts. If it were me I'd probably have a clover tattoo!{gasp}

We took him out for a birthday lunch that was delish and even splurged for ice cream. Keila found this restaurant in Princeton last week and we had to try it. Adams Breezy Hill Farm and Restaurant. Yum!

My little buddy.

I went with Keila to take Max to the doctor afterwards. Max told Keila yesterday that his ears hurt (in so many words) and that he wanted medicine. The kid has has way too many ear infections.  The doctor said his ears were fine but his throat looked bad. His strep test came back negative, so that's good.

Max's doctor is so precious. She asked Max if he was ready to go.. He said "K" and reached for her. He thought she was his ticket out of that place! Ha!

Keila's goddaughter and my newly adopted niece (she just started calling me Aunt Whitney.. Which cracks me up because Max calls me E) is being treated for step. Poor baby. Aunt Whitney should probably get the girl a get well gift.

Tanner was (and still is) home sick and didn't make an appearance in the birthday festivities. He's been down for the count for 24 hours now. Hopefully he starts improving soon.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!🍀
